Steven Alan + The Strokes + Scott Sternberg = Vampire Weekend.

The new preppy “it” band Vampire Weekend has been popping up everywhere (Teen Vogue, GQ…cover of yet to be released major music magazine). Pictured below is the GQ “Music” section from the February issue – can you say Glenn O’Brien! The profile (by Mr. Will Welch) might as well be the Fashion Well, only styled in the GQ editors own clothes (don’t get me wrong – I dress just like these / those guys). It doesn’t really seem to be just a music profile. With songs like Oxford Comma and Cape Cod Kwassa Kwassa it is only a matter of time before these guys are going to be in an ad campaign.

By the way – how could I not mention that cover with Rachel Bilson?!?
